Eight CSU graduate students studying Art and Art History designed and painted part of the future CSU Spur campus during the annual RiNo CRUSH Walls event.

Art concept statement:

“The mural will focus on the 5 elements of sustainability which are: partnership, planet, prosperity, peace and people. Our imagery will focus on scientific drawings and motifs of nature and environmental symbolism. Our goal is to create an intervention with the buildings architecture and environment to create a cohesive and impactful design.”

The east wall of McConnell Building will be a part of RiNo CRUSH, and the building will ultimately be connected to the new construction of the CSU Spur Hydro building.
